PlanNET is committed to building lifetime support and meaningful social networks around people with a disability.
For many people with a disability, finding and maintaining long-term friendships outside of their immediate family and paid supports is difficult. In recognition of this, planNET was created with the primary purpose of facilitating networks of support for people made vulnerable by their disability.
We work together with the individual and/or their family toward developing a safe, reliable and ongoing social network of people. We work in accordance with a person centred plan. We value our independence from recurrent government funding. Through our networks of caring people, real friendships and meaningful links to the community are formed. Lives are transformed.
